Job Description

This position will be responsible for the direct point of contact for respective customers via telecon and email within a manufacturing environment. Response time / acknowledgement to customer requests must be relayed back to the customer ASAP with the utmost urgency. Must be cognizant of respective open orders, statuses, sales volume, and pertinent contact information and will be able to intelligently respond to customer needs with or without assistance from other departments. This position also serves as the liaison between the company, MMPCo, and the voice of the customer.

Requirements:

Must have previous customer service experience within a manufacturing environment. Individuals must demonstrate leadership, multi tasking capabilities and the ability to communicate clear, accurate information to both external and internal customers. These positions require self control, constant professionalism and the ability to handle stress and stressful situations with confidence and integrity.

Responsibilities include, but not limited to the following:

  • Attend / facilitate daily CDA (Customer Delivery Action) meeting
  • Retrieve, acknowledge and maintain customer portals
  • Communicate customer activities to Sales Manager(s) / CEO / Director of Customer Service
  • Enter / review customer PO’s, establish Sales Orders in SL (identify discrepancies), handle customer purchase order management
  • Ensure timely and through, accurate responses / inquiries to customers both external and internal
  • Attend / facilitate sales conference calls
  • Monitor inventory of customer supplied material
  • Handle RMA procedures
  • Support MMPCo Sales
  • Serve as back up to Customer Service Specialist and Director of Customer Service
  • Maintain customer database in SL
  • Update MMPCo company presentation for customer visits
  • Facilitate NPI (New Part Introduction)

  • Populate with Sales force
  • Retrieve RFQ’s
  • Facilitate daily quote review meeting
  • Establish Opportunities and Estimates in SL
  • Collaborate in conjunction with Engineering Dept, quote follow up, maintain quote backlog
  • New customer (prospect) set up
  • Input sales events in salesforce.com when applicable
  • Coordinate customer / prospect survey / NDA’s within inner departments

  • Support President / CEO as requested
  • Distribute Customer survey / compile results
  • Maintain MMPCo equipment list, company information and photo gallery as needed
  • Distribute holiday cards
  • Maintain tradeshow material / hardware
